Singapore, 3 February 2026 – Global sportswear brand ANTA has committed to a five-year partnership to support winter sports in Singapore, beginning with kitting Team Singapore at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 and extending through to the Olympic Winter Games French Alps 2030.

The partnership was formalised at a signing ceremony held today at ANTA Singapore’s office, where Mr Mark Chay, Secretary-General of the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) (centre in photo), and Mr Wang Huayou, Chairman and President of ANTA Southeast Asia (left in photo), signed the agreement. The collaboration underscores ANTA’s long-term commitment to Team Singapore and the development of winter sports in non-traditional markets.

Under the partnership, Team Singapore athletes will be equipped with high-performance apparel designed to meet the demands of elite competition in extreme winter conditions. ANTA will serve as the Official Winter Games Attire Sponsor and Official Footwear Sponsor of Team Singapore.

In addition to providing winter apparel for Team Singapore’s Winter Games contingents, ANTA will also supply footwear for Team Singapore athletes at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, 2026 Asian Games, 2027 SEA Games, 2028 Olympic Games and 2029 SEA Games.

As part of Team Singapore’s preparations for Milano Cortina 2026, former national sprinter Amirudin Jamal has been appointed Chef de Mission for the Olympic Winter Games. Amirudin, who previously served as Assistant Chef de Mission for Team Singapore at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, brings with him extensive experience as a former Team Singapore athlete and will lead the delegation at the Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 also marks a historic milestone for Singapore winter sports, with alpine skier Faiz Basha becoming the first Singaporean to qualify for snow events at the Olympic Winter Games. Faiz will compete in two events, Men’s Giant Slalom and Men’s Slalom, representing Singapore on the world’s biggest winter sporting stage.

As the sole athlete representing Singapore at the Games, Faiz will also serve as Singapore’s flagbearer at the Opening Ceremony.

Team Singapore first qualified for the Olympic Winter Games in 2018, when short track speed skater Cheyenne Goh competed at the PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games.

Mr Mark Chay, Secretary-General of the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC), said:

“This partnership with ANTA reflects a shared belief in supporting athletes over the long term including those competing in winter sports. We are very pleased to welcome ANTA as Team Singapore’s apparel partner for the Olympic Winter Games and look forward to working together as our athletes prepare for Milano Cortina 2026 and beyond.”

Mr Amirudin Jamal, Chef de Mission for Team Singapore at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, said:

“It is an honour to be appointed Chef de Mission for Team Singapore at the Olympic Winter Games. Having competed as an athlete myself and previously served as Assistant Chef de Mission at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, I gained a strong understanding of what athletes and support teams require at major Games. I look forward to working closely with Faiz and his performance team as we prepare for Milano Cortina 2026.”

Mr Faiz Basha, Team Singapore alpine skier, said:

“Qualifying for the Olympic Winter Games is a huge milestone for me and for winter sports in Singapore. To be able to represent Singapore in two alpine skiing events at Milano Cortina 2026 is incredibly meaningful. My focus going into the Games is to ski clean, be competitive, continue improving my international rankings, and deliver my best performances on the Olympic stage. I am grateful for the support from SNOC and partners like ANTA as I continue this journey.”

The ANTA Group has consistently upheld a “global mindset with localised execution”, placing consumers at the centre while continuously advancing the global development of its brands. With a long-term vision, ANTA is dedicated to deep local market integration across four key dimensions: product, service, management, and logistics – while consistently delivering high-value, professional sports products and experiences that meet regional market needs and consumer expectations.

Mr Wang Huayou, Chairman and President of ANTA Southeast Asia, said:

“ANTA is honoured to officially enter into a five-year partnership with the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC), becoming the Official Winter Sports Apparel Sponsor of Team Singapore. This collaboration marks an important milestone in ANTA’s continued commitment to strengthening local engagement and services in Singapore and the Southeast Asia region.

Over the next five years, ANTA will work closely with SNOC to support more than 10 Games and provide professional equipment and resources to Team Singapore. Through the continued expansion of this partnership, ANTA is committed to embedding its “Keep Moving” brand spirit into the local sports ecosystem, driving the growth and accessibility of sports culture within the community.”

The Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 will take place from 6 to 22 February 2026 in Italy. Faiz will compete on 14 February (Men’s Giant Slalom) and 16 February (Men’s Slalom) at Stelvio Ski Centre.
